Introduction
Thiago V. dos Santos is a researcher in land and atmospheric sience. His research interests include weather models, satellite images, vegetation models, climate change, data visualization and the effect of climate in people's lives.
After spending a few years in the United States pursuing his PhD and gaining some postdoctoral training, he currently works as a data consultant for the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) at the University of Campinas (Unicamp).
